My name is Ahmed. I was born and raised in Zanzibar, a beautiful touristic island in East Africa. Since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by technology, and today I'm a tech entrepreneur running a few companies.

I love traveling, inspired by my late father who traveled the globe but rarely shared his stories. My goal is to travel the world and share my experience.

Many people in Africa don't travel for leisure due to strict visa restrictions, and a lack of access to travel information. Through my journeys, I hope to encourage and inspire people from my community to explore the world.

Music: Bruno Mars, Enrique Iglesias, and early 2000s American rappers (Lil Wayne, Eminem, and others). I also listen to Majida El Roumi and a few other Arabic artists

Movies: I love good sci-fi films and series like; The Flash and The Tomorrow People. I also watch Saudi series like; Al Marsa, Khareef Al Qalb, and others.

Books: I don't read many traditional books. I'm much more of an online reader and spend most of my time searching for information, reading articles, and learning new things on the web.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a solo trip around Egypt for the first time in 2017. It was just a week, but it was incredibly memorable: swimming and snorkeling in the Red Sea, seeing the Pyramids, and meeting so many nice people. I truly felt like I belonged there.
