About Me

I love being outdoors, biking, hiking, geocaching, taking photos. I am a creative person. In my spare time you will either find me working on my photographs or working on other art stuff such as acrylic paintings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new people. And maybe you'll share some experiences with me and give me inspirations on where my next travels could head to. Of course I love to travel and I really wanna spend my time with locals instead of being bored alone in a hotel room.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the rock band "Breaking Benjamin" and I was lucky to attend a concert at PNC Music Pavillion in Charlotte, North Carolina in August 2019.
I'm looking forward to a Blue October concert in Frankfurt in March 2022.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After graduating from school in Germany, I left family, friends and my home behind in order to become an AuPair in the US for one and a half years. I lived in New Jersey, close to New York city and I took care for a girl aged 5 back then and a boy age 7... (They are now just finishing school and college.... wow... time flies by!)
Returning back home, I learned, that you're not missing out too much at your old place. Life there pretty much stayed the same. It's easy to catch up with people after that period of time away.
My "heart" since then belongs to the US - and I try to catch as many occasions to travel there again.

I did a one week roadtrip of 2100 miles / 3300 kilometers through the southern US States in August 2019 all by myself. This is also where I gathered my first couchsurfing experiences. I had such a great time with these hosts!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be happy to share some of my knowledge about being a hobby-photographer. Don't expect any mysterious wisdom, it's a lot of technique and basic stuff that you can follow in order to get a decent photograph.

I would also be happy to share my knowledge about Geocaching. If you have never heard about it, feel free to google to get a brief overview about what it is. I've been a geocacher since 2009. I started the hobby and it just never let me go completely.

I'm from Germany - so I can let you know about good travel destinations, cuisine, language stuff, or whatever you would like to know about this country. I came across Europe quite a bit as well. So If you need decent travel destinations for traveling to Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria - feel free to ask me anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a nice apartment with quite a bit of space. There is a kitchen and it holds a fridge. Most of the time, there's not too much inside it, but feel free to take what you like. When you're here, I want you to feel free to feel at home and help yourself with what you need in terms of food, towels, soap, washer or whatever you need.
