I am a born and bred Cape Townian, who has for the past three years been working in different cities in South Arrica and countries around the world. I am very sociable and love meeting new people from across the world and love sharing stories about their travels and home countries. I am very passionate about learning different cultures, food and languages - when I visit a new country the best way for me to break the ice with locals is by learning their language and slang which I find quite fun and exciting. I started a non-profit company that focuses on the indigenous African languages in South Africa that attests my love of language. I have a keen interest in world politics and history which is another way that connects me with people.

As a keen traveler myself, I know how difficult, stressful and nerve-racking it can be when traveling to a new country and what to expect. I always find that friendly locals who take time and effort out of their day to help travelers to their country can make the experience more worthwhile, less time-consuming and helpful on a tight budget. Thus, I wish to contribute to this and pay-it-forward by offering my assistance to travelers should they seek assistance.

Finally putting my semi-fluent German to use in Germany and being able to communicate and understand people in their language. The payoff after almost a year of learning from an online app and friends from work was so satisfying.
