About Me

I'm a Colombian electrical engineer I came to France to start with my Erasmus Mundus master. I'll live in Nantes for 6 months but this summer I'll be in Montpellier learning French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm really new in the platform and the first reason, why I'm here, is for meeting people, I've met some cool people in my zone (Cologne) but I would like to meet more and more, the second largest reason is to travel, but I think the most important part isn't the money, that you can save with the platform, the most important part is the culture exchange with the host, that is why I'm here :)

Interests

I would describe myself as a person, who has a lot of hobbies, but I have to say that the biggest ones are gymnastics and traveling.

I simply love to practice gymnastics or other sports that involve the same skills, like Parkour or climbing, I've practiced gymnastics for 6 years and I'm planning to do it for the rest of my life :)

I also love traveling, but I have to say that I haven't travelled that much around the world in comparison with other people in the platform, but I can say that I've travelled more around Colombia that the average colombian and I would love to show how it is our culture, because in Colombia we have a lot of diversity and this diversity makes us richer in other way.

I also love studying and learning new thing, I was doing my undergraduate program in Colombia, in electrical engineering and as soon as I come but I will continue my studies, but I also have other interests and I think each area from the human knowledge can give me something and I'm always open to learn new things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most legendary story was travelling in my country, I was with some friends from the university and we had to hike like 60 km in 3 days, with a really heavy back pack and terrible weather conditions, it was really amazing because it was the human vs the nature, in he other hand we were guided there by a native community and we learned really cool stuff about their mentality and how the see the cosmos, this was a before and an after in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach all about Colombia, the culture, the music, the history, the currently politics, the situation with Venezuela that also affects Colombia, I'm really proud to be Colombian, that's the reason why I'm a good source of information about my country :)

I can teach how to dance latin american music, like salsa, reggaeton, bachata, etc.

I also open to have conversations in Spanish, English and also German, wich are the languages that I can speak.

I have some scientific knowledge, so maybe I can teach some cool stuff.

I'm open to learn almost everything and I think that is the beautiful part from this platform.
