About Me
Hi!
My homeland is Slovakia, country with beautiful mountain ranges. Since childhood my older siblings took me to climb the mountains and camp in the woods. And as I am growing up I am seeking for even more adventure.
It was always my dream to meet people of various cultural backgrounds, to know their culture, stories and to become friends. Now, when I am living on my own in a foreign country, the world opened to me so much. And I can see that it offers wonderful opportunities which I am eager to take on.
I come from a big family with plenty of nieces and nephews of my siblings. I love spending time with them even though they are all over the globe.
My passion is music and for five years I had been playing the saxophone in the orchestra. Recently I started to paint on textile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This February my University organises a camp in Linz, Austria for future scientists interested in sustainability, biotechnology and environmental issues. I decided to participate and my first thought was why not to try Couchsurfing and meet people who live there. It connects education with exploring.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don't have favourite genre of either books, music or movies. I am an open person eager to learn. I love playing and listening to jazz and swing but the very next minute I switch to metal. Debussy, Dvorak or Mozart are in my playlist as well.
I grew up on fairytailes, mostly on H. CH. Andersen. Historical novels were fascinating for me mainly because they were based on facts. From interwar literature Sophie's choice, Nothing new on the western front, A story about a real man are just few titles I have read.
But the more books I have read, the more books that are added on my to-read list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once my brother took me to give free food to homeless people in Prague centre. It really touched me and I talked to wonderful people who lived on streets. It taught me they are people with dreams, values and stories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make a Slavic squat (a proper way) or rather something more advanced from gymnastics. And my curiosity is huge, so feel free to show me your skills and experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Would you like to cook a dinner together or just chill and play some table games?
I also like to discuss pretty much everything (as from the lifespan of fly to stars in universe). I am calm but always prone to having some fun.
And I hope we can share laugh, good mood and new memories :)
