About Me

I would love to hear your experiences hosting or couchsurfing! Would love to learn a new language.

Flexible
meet so many strangers and mix with so many cultures.

Courageous
The more you travel, the less scary the big, bad world seems. You’re often told that you’ve got moxie and balls. After conquering the world… nothing really scares you.

Open-Minded
understand that different does not mean wrong. In fact, it may be better. You are excited to speak new languages, learn about new cultures and taste new foods. Different doesn’t scare you, it turns you on.

Adventurous
constantly being stimulated by meeting new folks and trying new things. The rush is ongoing and nearly constant. You start to crave adventure and push your own limits further and further. No wonder some say it’s an addiction. And for the record, being adventurous, does NOT have to mean jumping out of an airplane or bungee jumping off of a bridge (two things I have not done!). Getting out of your comfort zone, traveling solo, plunking down in the middle of a foreign land with no friends or plans — that’s all very adventurous!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

love meeting new people

I love experiencing new things.
I love seeing new places.
I love tasting new food
I love adventure and the spontaneity that the journey brings.
I enjoy pushing yourself out of your comfort zone
I enjoy the personal growth that happens within you through the culmination of everything you experience and the people you meet.

Traveling by nature requires us to continuously adapt; to new environments, experiences and people. Traveling to a new country where there is different food, language(s) and ways of living, requires us to adapt our diets, learn some of the local language and function within new laws. There is constant change and we need to constantly adapt.
