My name is Devon Thompson, holder of a M. Ed. (ESL and Bilingual Education), and a B. Ed. (Hons., Spanish, French) that I earned in Jamaica. I am a sociable being, well interested in immersing myself in every culture - especially Spanish and French culture.

I am a lover of good music and soul stirring poetry. I can always be heard singing or reciting some of my favourite poems. Cooking is also an activity I find myself enjoying more and more as the days pass.

I look forward to interacting with you, when I would have requested a stay at your place of abode or you at mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see this as the perfect opportunity to gain from cultures outside of my own through socializing with foreign natives. It is also the perfect window to dismiss any miseducation of my culture.
