- My country is very large, there are 26 states and the federal district, to get an idea of the size of the Brazilian territory, the United Kingdom would fit only within São Paulo and Bahia is only slightly smaller than France. Brazilian States that I have visited: Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Bahia and the Federal District.
