About Me

I am half German and half Ghanian and lived 7 years in Cuba. Currently, I am living in Japan as an exchange student. That being told, I love traveling, being in an international environment and learning about new cultures.

My current bachelor is International Business Mangement East Asia with a focus on Japan, however, I am also really interested in nutrition.

Hobbies of mine include basketball, badminton, reading (especially about nutrition or health), binge-watching (when I have lots of free time), and eating. I love trying food from around the world; Japanese cuisine is my favorite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am soon going to be traveling around Japan and Taiwan with my friend for a couple of weeks, and we have been looking for cheap ways to get around Japan to make our trip more budget friendly.
This is when I've stumbled upon Couchsurfing. The concept seems really interesting and I think it is a good way to meet people.
If my Couchsurfing experience turns out well, then I think I am considering keeping to use this and maybe become a host one day myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much like almost every kind of music apart from heavy metal and heavy rock. The music I listen to always varies as well as what language the music is in.

I am very fond of Disney movies (especially Beauty Beast, Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan), and Ghibli movies (especially Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke). Some of my favorite movies are Türkisch für Anfänger and 10 things I hate about you.

My favorite books are Keturah and 3 Wünsche hast du frei.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I can answer this question directly, but one of the most amazing and funny experience involves getting lost with one of my friends in the middle of nowhere, and still making the best of the situation and laughing or head off.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone is interested in a German or English speaking partner that I am up for it. And if you don't mind being a speaking partner for me in either Japanese or Spanish, that would be great ;D

Countries I’ve Visited
