Hi! Im olaf, a student at wageningen university (the netherlands) and im finally trying out couchsurfing after hearing a lot of good stories about it. I try to traverse this world as friendly and open-minded as possible. I like having long walks through nature or through (yet) undiscovered cities, which i like doing alone, but with a knowledgable host would be even better.

I like couchsurfing since it gives you the possibility to meet people that are living in the place you're visiting and so know the coolest and prettiest places to visit, that only insiders could know. Also i think couchsurfers are the more open minded and friendly people, which are exactly the people i wanna meet.

It's a shame the verification payment is now kind of obligatory (or so it seems to me), i hope for my first couchsurfing experience i can still manage without.
