It is hard for me to write about myself. I will try. I spend last 10 years in my room, trying to create my own library. Extreme introvert. I was buying used books, antique ones especially, read a lot, trying to understand how the world and human mind works. Classic literature, sociology, philosophy, history, pedagogy, spiritualism... During that time I always had a job. Actually, few jobs. Mostly agriculture. I love growing plants. Working class. Always been independent. Few months ago a felt that room beginning to be smaller and smaller. I felt the walls were slowly crushing me. Then, something happened to me. Something i have never expected. That feeling that is something more out there, outside of security of those four walls. In a blink of an eye I made the most unexpected decision that I have ever made in my entire life: I decided to see the world with my own eyes, not from the eyes of all those writers that I reed. I just came back from my first trip. Morocco. Wow. I cannot describe it with words. Not just nature, but amazing people i have meet. In just a month I had learned so much from those people. They taught me that not everything is in rational and logical thinking. I started to feel again. The most beautiful gift I have ever got. In only a month time period. Now, I feel that I just cant stop traveling...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Most of the people I have met on my first travel recommended me couchsurfing as a great way to meet new, interesting people. Not just on the road, but at my home as well. The way I understand that is that you can be traveler in your own home. Some kind of reverse tourism. By hosting people from all corners of world you can learn a lot of different cultures by staying at your hometown. So I am open for hosting as well to be hosted by couchsurfing members who thinks that they will enjoy my company.

I like music when I feel art in it. More instruments, less electronics.
My favourite movie directors are: Emir Kusturica, Darren Aronofsky, Guy Ritchie, Gore Verbinski, Tim Burton and Wes Anderson, but the truth is that I have not watch movie for a long time. I highly recommend movie called "Earthlings" for the people who have stomach to watch it.
Ah, books. For me Ivo Andric, Momo Kapor and Miroslav Krleza are the best writers from my language area. I love books from James Joyce, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Thomas Man, Goethe, Dostoevsky, Tolstoy...
But if I have to chose one, I will chose two of them: Mary Shelley - Frankenstein and Romain Rolland - Colas Breugnon.
