Overview
About Me
I am international filmmaker, writer and artist...among other things. Right now, I am producing The Foggie Wanderer, an intimate, immersive documentary travel series focused on locations in and around the Artic circle and other countries way up North. Adventurer, photographer and painter, my explorations have taken me to 10 countries and counting. In my spare time, I manage and curate socially responsive art installations. You can discover more about my work and writing at www.foggiewanderer.com and www.elizabethdfoggie.com.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people, make new memories, capture stories, and to learn and explore unfamiliar places. I used Couchsurfing back in 2015 when I spent a month in Berlin doing a few experimental art residencies. As an international filmmaker and artist, my work takes me abroad a lot and as an immersive traveller, the people I meet along the way are an essential part of the experience.
