About Me

Hey, I am Andrea, a travel geek.
I lived in Taiwan in most of my life. I stayed in Seoul for a bit before I moved to Amsterdam this year.
Trying to jump out of my comfort zone, still working on it.
I love animals, especially dogs, I feel that I can kinda communicate with them cuz I love them deeply.
Always like to walk in natures, watching Netflix series or movies, drawing, doing yoga, learning languages and new kinds of stuff.
I prefer face-to-face conversation than using social media, so I barely use my phone unless it is necessary ( like finding a host). Maybe I am quite old-fashioned, I write letters or postcards to my friends now and then. And I love vintage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, meeting new people, like everyone here, learning and sharing experiences with each other.
It is always fun to know perspectives different than yours, keeps open-minded and expands my knowledge from learning from each other.
Traveling to another city is taking a rest for me to explore myself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the amazing things is taking care of stray dogs as a volunteer. I love dogs so much:)
Another one is I accomplished my goal, traveling to Burma without getting any financial support from my parents when I was 18, it feels so amazing to make my dream come true completely by myself.
Also, moving to Amsterdam is one of the greatest things I have done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook something my mom cooked for me when I was a kid, I guess it's like a mixture of Taiwanese and Japanese. Anyway, it's good:)
We can play cards together, I am good at poker as well.
Or a relaxing talk, which is my favorite.
