Hello everyone,
I am a 21 year old student from the Fiji Islands. I study in New York University (NYU) and I am currently in NYC until May. I want to use this opportunity to meet new people, see new things, and travel through various parts of the US at an affordable price thus the couchsurfing haha.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Apart from saving costs on a student budget, I love to immerse myself in the culture and lifestyles of the places I visit. I would love to listen to my hosts stories and daily experiences and share mine as well with my host. Additionally, I love interesting conversations (preferably with some banter, laughter, and beer) and I believe couchsurfing is one the most ideal places to do this as we all come from very diverse backgrounds.

My music ranges from alternative rock, pop, hip hop, a lotta latina music, songs from Europe, Africa, and Asia, and basically anything that sounds beautiful.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a week in Uganda researching addiction and found myself in the dark hut of an African spiritual healer. He would casually talk to me about dead people and then let me dance with his mystical spear as he played his ancestral music.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Offering some crazy unconventional stories like getting into two near death incidents in Lebanon to being on a ship in the Pacific ocean on rough seas, and more. As I share my stories, I would love to know more about my hosts as well.
