I am on couchsurfing because during my travels I figured this was the most authentic way to get in touch with what a country is all about, its people.

兴趣

I've been playing softball since I was 12. I'm currently in the same team as my older sister which is icredibly fun.
I am currently an actress for the youth theatre company "SubSub" based in my home town of Almere. We'll be performing at the beginnig of 2020 and I am super excited to be on stage again.
Obviously travelling is one of my biggest passions, otherwise I wouldnt be having this couchsurfing account ;)
I do like to write my own stuff. It doesnt matter whether it's poetry, theatreplays, filmscenarios or novels. I never seem to finish any of my stories though, but that is a common struggle among writers unfortunatley..

All time favourite movie you asked? Oldboy (2003)
When it comes to music i'm quite open minded, it all depends on the vibe you're in and the people you're with.
My favourite book is I and Thou written by Martin Büber. If you've read it, please explain it to me because i'm still not sure what that book is exactly is about. That's probably also why it's my favourite.
But the book that I've always held dear is "The alchemist". Since I was little it has always been one of my favourites and I still read it from time to time. I feel like a lot of people can learn a lot by reading it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I solo travelled South East Asia for 7 months while I was 18 years old. I feel like that's quite an accomplishment. During those travels I had a Disney carpool karaoke with one of my friends while sitting in the back of a Grab only to find out the taxi driver recorded everything with a dashboard camera. He's probably still laughing about it. Oh I also did a balloonflight over the old city of Bagan with more than 2000 temples.
