Hi! My name is Friso, I am from the Netherlands and I'm currently doing a gap year. I am solo travelling through South America for six months.

I love languages, history and food. I don't like to sit around and do nothing, and I am not afraid to work hard.
I am also working on my Spanish, as I have gone to a language school for five weeks. However, I would love to improve it even more, and that's one of my motivations to do Couchsurfing.

I'm an easy-going, adventurous person. I want to do Couchsurfing, because I want to step out of my comfort zone and meet people from all around the world

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Medellín, where I went paragliding in the mountains surrounding the city. The view was amazing and I'm so happy I did it. Although I still don't know why I thought it was a good idea to run off a mountain with only some canvas to keep me in the air...
