About Me

I'm zesty and curious.
I enjoy the challenge that languages pose, getting lost in conversation and using my legs to get from A to B.
I've recently completed postgraduate studies, so am injecting some extra adventure into 2019 with travel in the USA!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet locals with whom I can trade stories and share cultures, because I believe that places are made great by the people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate any music with a melody that I can hum, or lyrics worthy of an (attempted) sing-along.

I dabble in many book genres, but can never go past a good nordic noir or crime.
I've thoroughly enjoyed biographies, fantasies and classics, such as:
The Bridges of Madison County, The Shepherd's Life, Jo Nesbø crimes, Game of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2019 - I quit my job in favour of US adventure
2016 - QLD to TAS, I decided to fulfil my dream to live in Tassie, so I drove South to the Apple Isle.
2015 - Argentina and Antarctica beckoned, as did the divine Spanish language!
2009 - A year in Belgium living with the greatest host family while learning French through immersion
