Ciao, I am Greta.
I thought for a very long time that I am a winter person but during my volunteer service in Latvia I found out that that is not really true. I am an optimistic, and curious girls that enjoys life, especially in spring and summer. I love beeing outside and I love chocolate. In my freetime I like to draw and to record a podcast about my time here in Latvia. Since I am 17 years old I am working in a summer tent camp for kids and that is the highlight every summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last week I came back from Russia to Riga. On Wednesday evening an Italien guy asked me where the KIWI bar is and I showed him the way. We spoke about travelling and I told him that I really feel the need to go to Italy because I am sick of all the cold, dark days and the shut mood that comes with it. Unfortunately my trip to Russia was more expensive than I assumed so that I thought I would be kind of stuck in here. He shared his advices how to travel cheap and how to get the most authentic way of getting to expericen a city.
That is why I am here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bevore I went to Latvia, tree friends and I went to the "Kosmonaut" festival in Chemnitz. The weather was amazing and we could see the stage from a plateau on a lake. For two days I was just inhaling summer, good vibes and friendship.
