About Me
Hi new friend! Happy to virtually meet you ;)
My name is Amélie, I am a 21 year young girl studying in Vienna (Austria). I was born and raised in Hamburg (Germany) by my french dad and my german mom.
I myself am one of many things... A traveller on an Interrail Trip through Europe with my boyfriend right now, the rest of the year a nutrition sciences student, very soon to be an apprentice chef, food and wine enthousiast, wannabe photographer, but mostly a courious, open european young mind.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I know I'm new here, wich makes my profile not too attractive to eventual hosts... But since I am on this amazing Interrail trip with my boyfriend and we really wanted to step out of our comfort zone this summer, while saving a few cents or two, we thought that we should give Couchsurfing a try!
I (we) want learn about you, your life story and your culture, to discover a town/city with a local or at least get the best tips, to meet as many new people as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books
I couldn't live without music, almost no day goes by where I don't listen to it from early in the morning until late at night. This is why I can't name any favorites, I listen to almost everything according to my mood and everytime it makes me feel so good.
I think almost every person in my life would say that I haven't seen enough movies or any of the good ones, so I don't think that I'm the right person to have a favorite.
I have the tipical millenial problem with books: I always buy them, start them but never find time to finish reading them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Only one?
Just kidding, life as a full time student isn't that exciting ;) But the best thing I have done in my life so far, was to spend my summer of 2017 in Ireland, in a little town called Lisdoonvarna. All I have to say is: it was magical!!
Teach, Learn, Share
Happy to learn everything about you culture and traditions, about your cuisine and if you have something cool/funny to teach me: I'd love to learn.
And as I said before, I'd love to hear your story, your couchsurfing experience and about all that motivates you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In return to hosting me (us), I could teach you some german or french. I could show you the wonderful french cuisine, or I could even teach you to make sushi.
Let's share our stories and beatiful memories. :)
