About Me

I'm a human being, just like you. My body carries my soul around. Sometimes, I think with great purpose, but I almost always come to realize how small I am.

Planet Earth is my home and this has meaning to me. I seek to understand the things around me, my roots and what brought me here. I try to do my part in this life because I think that, even if small, each one of us has an impact.

I love sports, partner dancing, fruit, new experiences, good old experiences, making friends and meeting old friends. I can spend days in the forest taking pictures of mushrooms, or spend them looking at the sea waiting for good waves to surf. However, recently I've discovered that I'm addicted to Forró and Samba de Gafieira, so I've been living the city life to stay close to the dance parties and classes.

Making choices is tough for me, but I never complain since having a choice is the biggest gift.

I am a thankful person for everything life has given me and some of the greatest experiences happened while traveling. I wish to live long enough to give it back and inspire others at least as much as I have been inspired.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Peer-to-peer networks and communities are the key to propel humankind forward and to reduce the toll we are extracting on this planet. I believe their power to reduce waste and enhance human-to-human connections, beyond virtual and impersonal interactions.

I put faith on Couchsurfing to make friends now that I'm solo travelling. To find guidance in unknown places, connect, learn and always, always, give a little bit of myself. Because. sometimes, giving is even more satisfying than being given.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazingly stupid: Curse my life because the metro was taking 20 minutes to arrive. It arrives, I was on the wrong side of the line. I have another 20 minutes to wait.

Amazingly hard: quit eating sugar for 1 year

Amazingly unexpected: Become a dance teacher

Just amazing: Surf the sunset of the beautiful beach close to my house. Amazing everytime. Our planet is just amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach. It gives some kind of sense of purpose to my life. I've been a teacher of many things, but I'm a student of many more. Would love to learn and teach dancing, computers, tennis, swimming, cooking, and anything else new and exciting!
