Hi guys!

My name is Karien and I’m a Brazilian girl living in Australia and visiting US. I’m a student of Community Services in Australia, currently doing work placement with Homelessness and Drug Addiction, also I’m a bar attendant in a pub. I’m very easy going, love a good laugh and very friendly. I speak fluent English and Portuguese. I love travel, music, dance, meet new people, exploring new places and cultures, a good chat, nice food and some drinks.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m visiting US to celebrate my 30th birthday. I’m visiting NY from the 22nd till 28th February. I’m travelling solo and tomorrow the 23rd is my birthday. As I’m travelling solo, I would love to meet new people to hang out and celebrate this special date. As well explore the city, eat some food and have some drinks in those amazing bars around the city. It’s my first time at the Couchsurfing, as it’s my first time in NY. I’m open and excited to meet amazing people and make new friends. I’m staying in Brooklyn during my visit to NY but open to go to others neighborhood. If you wanna hang out hit me up! I love R&B, Jazz, Soul Music and to be honest any type of music that I can appreciate good musicians and dance.
Atm I’m reading Women Who Run With Wolfs. It’s a great book about women empowerment and conection with herself.
I love movies, series and theatre. As well, i do enjoy a Netflix chill night

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best thing I ever done in my life was dropping off my degree of Bachelor in Business Administration on the 3rd year and move to Australia. Doing that I got to discover myself, learnt a second language and meet amazing people along the way. That was so far, my best decision that brought me many experiences and open my mind.
