Hello everyone!

I am a very easy-going and finally retired soldier living in a small city close to Frankfurt in Germany. Growing up in the Ex-Sowjetunion, moving to Germany as a teenager, working in the army for over 30 years and eventually having a family and raising up two children had taught me a lot about life. My Motto was always, doing good for others will eventually pay off by having a wonderful for yourself as well.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am totally new to this platform but very curious and confident about having an enriching sharing experience. Both of my kids as well as friends of them have big experience in Couchsurfing and hosting people and when I got the chance to meet some of the travellers I was amazed how easy and simple it is to bring people from around the world together, sharing stories and experience. I really would like to be part of the Couchsurfing community and contributing to the spirit by hosting people and getting the chance to couchsurf by myself.
