Well, like for everyone, I think, it must be hard to talk about yourself in few written words; but let`s try the shot!

Beyond all the objective information (I`m a Brazilian, police officer etc.) I like to highlight my will of discover the world and all the experiences it can offer me - and this is the main reason why I travel abroad.

During my trips I always seek to explore the local culture and habits, looking for daily/routine experiences - beyond the touristic ones. And it is for these reasons that I describe my self as a curious guy, who will be always available for listening and also wishing to make several questions.

Furthermore - talking about myself - I`m a optimistic guy, trying to deal with the positive side of the things; and, always when it`s possible, I will try use jokes and funny stories to improve the mood.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all: experience.

Well, I joined Couchsurfing after several friend`s indications; and all their arguments can be summed up in one word: exchange. This is the second reason why I`m on Couchsurfing. I`m seeking to exchange information, experiences, knowledge and hosting (of course) with people from different backgrounds and erudition.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Music range is enormous - I must admit - thus, it`s very hard to sum it up in styles. But my last "more listen musics" are Indie (traditional one, but also Indie Rock and Indie Pop), Folk, Classical (several styles, preferring violin and choral) and (of course) Brazilian music.

I must be honest: I`m not a "Movies fan"; and for this reason I cannot give you descriptions about my liking. Basically, dramas and sci-fi are my favorites.

The range of books is also large; but my favorite styles are Politics, History, Diplomacy and Biographies.

My current experience: working for United Nations in a Peacekeeping operation.

I can talk with you about history, politics, international relations and philosophy - my favorite subjects. Of course that I will also be glad in sharing my professional experiences related to Police duty and Peacekeeping activities. Finally, I will be always available to talk about my country (Brazil) and its huge diversity.

I would love to learn about you culture, traditions and points of view about the world. And to me, the best way of learning that is while experiencing your daily routine (or of your city).
