My name is Amanda, I am 24 years old and currently on a 4 month backpacking trip around South America. As probably everyone else on this app I love to meet new people, and I consider myself as easy to talk to and openminded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing because a part of this trip is to meet new people, and I think couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do that, especially meeting the people from the country I am staying at.

Interests

I have a lot of interests, I love to travel which I have discovered even more on this trip. I really like biology and I am planning to study medicine this summer when I get back from this trip.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to listen to a lot of different music, not a specific song or genre, I am always open to listen to new amazing music. As for movies I am a little bit weird because I love seeing movies I have already seen, if they were good of course, because then I know i already like it. My friends hate it when i suggest movies, because it is always movies I have already seen. I have not brought any book on this trip, simply because my backpack is about to explode, but if I could I would bring some kind of crimi book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’d like to do amazing things all the time, even small things that matter and challenge me. But I would say volunteering with elephants for three weeks in Thailand in 2019 was a really amazing and fulfilling experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some phrases in danish if you are interested in that, I also know a little bit of spanish. I can share how it is to be a 24 year old girl in Denmark. I have a bachelor in Medicine, and I am always happy to svare my knowlegde.
