About Me

I am Polish software engineer who wants to catch up with traveling.

What I enjoy most is really good food and learning stuff I have no idea about and meeting people I didn't expect to meet. From me you can learn about how artificial intelligence works.

I plan only when I have to. You can call it disorganized or spontaneous, whichever you like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because it gives me opportunity to connect to people from really far in really short period of time which is much more exciting than a boring trip according to a plan.

Interests

I read and talk randomly aboutany topics bit the ones that come back to me quite often are
technology, philosophy, geopolitics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer movies that are either very engaging or very entertaining. I really enjoyed the dollar trilogy by Sergio Leone, older Tarantino movies, Space Oddysey, Apocalypse Now, Bergmann's Persona, Dirty Harry.

Regarding music I used to listen to older rock like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors. I also enjoy classical but not classicist. For me it's e.g. Liszt, Tschaikovsky, Dworzak. Currently I listen to a lot of jazz and funk if it has some proper groove.

I currently do not read as much as possible. That's why I enjoy to sit around nature during vacation to have a read. Some of my favourite books are:
- Dostoyevsky's Idiot for the most tragic and sincere character I know,
- Huxley's Brave New World for scarily compelling vision of future,
- Plato's Symposium for very simple, but very powerful insights about human desire we often tend to forget.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming naked in winter in Baltic Sea after a couple or beers.

Trained neural networks to make computers speak expressively.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you software, AI, playing guitar. People also say I am quite knowledgeable on economy and science, but you have to verify yourself ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couch in my room and really good scrambled eggs with bacon for breakfast. If there's some juicy jam session in the old town, I will let you know. If you enjoy craft beer I have a couple of friends that really know the topic. We can check out Polish crafts which are really growing right now in Poland.

Countries I’ve Visited

Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
