Hello all!

My name is Metka, first of four children, I am 21 years old and from Slovenia. Right now I'm studying in Ljubljana at the Faculty of Criminal Justice and Security.

Basing on the fact that I have siblings, I can define myself as a patient one.
My friends tell me that I can be funny sometimes, but only sometimes (haha kidding, it's my jokes that are funny sometimes ;D ) -- they also call me Cringetka (Cringe + Metka), I wonder why.

I am a sunny person, but also allergic to sun (not even kidding).

Many people told me that I am very shy, but thing is, sometimes I don't know whether I am thinking or in fact speaking... but I guess I really am quite shy, though.

I have been learning Italian language for almost 13 years, because I live in a Slovenian-Italian city, but managed to learn it a little better (now I can understand almost everything) only in the last year.
I still have trouble explaining myself in Italian, because I need practice.

I have a cat and a dog, but I have owned many different species of animals.
Since we have a garden in front of our home, I enjoy planting flowers and spices.

My friend introduced me to couchsurfing, mainly because we both like the idea of meeting new friends and make new experiences while getting to know the city in the least touristic way.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I hiked the highest mountain in Slovenia: Triglav.
While climbing a mountain, I almost fell down.

I shaved my head once and kept it going for almost a year! P.s. I've got hair now, and its pretty fluffy!
