Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I've managed to obtain a new job opportunity. Within the next days i'll be traveling to Coquimbo Chile and i'll probably be needing someone to help me out, at least for the starting days

Music, Movies, and Books

Alien, Aliens, A Few Good Men, Atlantis the Lost Empire, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Iron Man and Tropic Thunder are some of the movies that i tend to re-watch.

For music, i mostly stick to instrumental works and soundtracks from my favorite media: The Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Elder Scrolls and such. Aside from that i gravitate towards medieval music, specially played on the guitar. My favorite composers are: Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, Jeremy Soule and Koji Kondo.

Not much of a book reader to be honest, most of the stuff I've read in the past AND read from time to time is more akin to technical/theory-centric works. Fundamentals of Game Design by Ernest Adams, a few Allan and Barbara Pease books and such. For more recreational reads the works of Tolkien can be added to the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have yet to do a mind-blowing, amazing thing with my life but i feel pretty proud of getting a position as a Game Developer in the Chilean industry with no proper background. My time at Benerot as a Technical Assistant was quite an achievement to me.

I love to share the underwater world with people who have never done any scuba diving, so there is that. If you have a crappy or malfunctioning computer you won't have to say a word and i'll be checking it out.
