I am a warm and friendly person, and like getting to know those I host/stay with.

I love how travelling makes everyone aware of just how nice random stangers can be. Have been shown so much kindness the world over.

I am happiest when nothing is going to plan! And love the feeling of just putting your hands up in the air and saying "let's see where this goes". Will also always be keen to try new things, whatever you have in mind. Am an easy going person, here for the experience.

When hosting I hope to get a drink with you, take you to see the gems I know around Cape Town. I am not interested in hosting people who treat the house as a hostel. This is a way to actually get to know what SA is really like. My country is beautifully, intoxicatingly complicated, with worlds upon worlds, living together. I like hosting people who are interested in this complexity, and open to learning.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having travelled to a few places in the world, I know the best trips are always those where you have a friend there. Someone to tell you about what life in a place is actually like. Travelling is mostly about people for me (though a beautiful mountain always blows my mind) and I couchsurf/host to meet people.
