Hola, soy María Eliza, trabajadora social de la ONG Vamos Juntos de desde hace aproximadamente 6 años.
Aqui tengo la oportunidad de trabajar con voluntarios de Alemania y conocer un poco de ellos y de su ciudad.
Antes estuve en otros trabajos donde igualmente tuve la oportunidad de conocer a personas de otros lugares y es muy interesante concer a las personas y sus historias.
En la ONG donde continuo trabajando estamos con un proyecto social que se llama "Turismo con Otros zapatos", proyecto que tiene como objetivo trabajar la discriminación hacia el trabajo de los lustracalzados y cambiar su imagen en la sociedad. Una gran parte de los ingresos del tour va directamente a los guías "alternativos" y la otra parte a Vamos Juntos como apoyo al trabajo social.
Es un tour turístico, el cual es guiado por lustracalzados quienes no solo proporcionarán información de fondo sobre lugares de interés turístico importantes de La Paz sino también te sumergirán en su entorno de trabajo y vida.

Para acceder a las visitas no tenemos fechas especificas - en su mayoria son a solicitud e interes de los visitantes.

Hi, I'm Maria Eliza, social worker of the NGO Vamos Juntos for about 6 years.
Here I have the opportunity to work with volunteers from Germany and get to know a little about them and their city.
Previously I was in other jobs where I also had the opportunity to meet people from other places and it is very interesting to get in touch with people and their stories.
In the NGO where I continue working we are having a social project called "Tourism with Other Shoes", a project that aims to work against discrimination towards the work of the shoes shiners and change their image in society. A large part of the income from the tour goes directly to the "alternative" guides and the other part to Vamos Juntos as support for social work.
It is a tourist tour, which is guided by the shoe shiners who will not only provide background information on important tourist attractions in La Paz but will also immerse you in their working and living environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Porque quiero conocer a otras personas y su cultura. Justamente en este año estoy pensando hacer un viaje a Canadá donde quiero conocer a gente local.
Cómo es dificil promocionar el tour de la ONG en la que trabajo, sin tener que pagar dinero a las agencias turísticas, también espero que se encuentren interesados en esta plataforma. :)
