Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for unique experiences while travelling.

Interests

I love spending time in the outdoors be it multi-day hiking trips, scuba diving, surfing etc.

I love the excitement of exploring new places be it in a campervan in New Zealand and Australia, on an old motorbike in South East Asia or hitchhiking through Patagonia.

However when not on the move, I'm equally satisfied by sitting indoors writing, playing and listening to music. Watching a good movie or having good conversation over a drink.

I played with my band as the opening act for guns n roses at download festival, Ireland when I was 13. To this day, the pinnacle of my music career haha

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught guitar and banjo to many students over the years (and briefly taught English in Spain). I'm currently learning spanish at a fairly beginner level but would like to improve.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company, decent cooking and if you have a guitar lying around, I'll gladly play a few tunes.
