We are an uruguayan couple who a year ago left our country to follow our dream of traveling the world!
We were working in Australia and now is the great moment to know a little about Asia and its people!

Guille can read for hours and is passionate about cinema.
Cecilia enjoys meditation and yoga, and is learning about photography.
We love sports, we are interested in learning diving and doing as many trekkings as we can.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We believe that a trip to a country is not complete if we do not exchange experiences with the locals, so couchsurfing is great because it allows us to have a closer contact with the culture of the country.
We will love to host guests in our home once we come back to our country!

We enjoy all kinds of music.
Some references are: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Caetano Veloso, Jorge Drexler, Flaco Spinetta, Tame Impala, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Daft Punk, The Doors, Queen, Soda Stereo, Sui Generis, Zaz, Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Calle 13, Ruben Rada.

About movies, we always look for those that leave us something, like a good dialogue or a good photograph. We like movies set in another time like "Pride and Prejudice", "Jane Eyre", "The Pianist", etc...
We try to watch foreign movies often as it is a good way to learn about the culture of a country. Some of the ones we saw and liked a lot are: "Metropolis", "A Separation", "Pan's Labyrinth", "Cinema Paradiso",
"All about my mother", "City of God", "Amelie", etc., etc...
We also love animated movies, to make it short we have three great references: Disney, Pixar and Studio Ghibli.
As we like to learn, we are also big fans of documentaries. We love documentaries about history and nature.

About literature, we enjoy above all the great classics. We still have a lot to read, that's why we always try to find the space to do it. We can have a chat about these and exchange some books with you.
