Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On my first trip alone, I went to Argentina and was surprised by wonderful people and a very rich culture! The feeling of not belonging to a place only consumed me, and today I feel passionate about traveling and meeting people who have the same feeling. I try to help these people in their trajectory, besides sharing experiences and cultures different from mine.

Books: in general, books of feminist poetry and stories of revolutionary people. The books that most impressed me were the Estação Carandiru, Carcereiros and Prisioneiras, which talk about the Brazilian prison situation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that being a woman in an extremely misogynistic country, travelling alone was a great adventure for a 22 year old woman. As a beginner traveller, I believe that my first step was already an incredible thing that I could have done.
