About Me

I was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US as a teenager. I have been lucky to have traveled to 15 countries and grown with each experience. I enjoy the arts and the outdoors, and love low key times like board games and cooking. I love discovering the little things about a country that only a local would know. I am naturally curious and will give my best to bring smiles to our faces. We should be kind, respectful, and willing to walk the extra mile for our neighbors. I live my family and look forward to expanding it by meeting new and amazing people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We learn more about ourselves and the world we live in by engaging with fellow members of the world community. I myself have seen my life drastically affected by traveling the world and meeting new people, learning their stories, and falling in love with their culture. I look forward to gaining new memories and learning more about our world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am in love with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I love reading biographies of historical figures and next-door people who made a difference against the odds. Very eclectic taste in music. I like playing guitar.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am the first member of my family to graduate from college, the first with a masters, and have seen many younger cousins continue that trend. My family connections are the most important thing in my life. Regardless of living far from them, it remains my most cherished treasure.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am open to learning how I can best serve. I run leadership programs at a college and can do trainings. I do web design, play guitar, write poetry, cook really good Mexican food, and can get pretty creative with program planning. I just started Couchsurfing and still learning how to best be a part of this community. Ideas welcome :)
