I live with my family in De Achterhoek, at the middle-east border of the Netherlands. We live in a small house at the countryside and have some animals: two dogs, a cat, chicken, a few sheep. It is a small house but we have a huge garden and a barn with a place to hangout.
I live a simple life, no luxery. When I travel I like off the beaten path or having a local show me around. Look forward to showing travelers the east-part of my country.

When I travelled to Spain on my bike I was surpriced by the hospitality from locals during my journey. II view Couchsurfing as an opportunity to build relationships with people instead of merely a means of attaining free housing !
