About Me

A software engineer from Vietnam.
Dedicated, curious, and hilarious (but sometimes sarcastic).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will travel to Italy in Summer 2019. It is advised to stay with the local to enjoy the culture and “La Dolce Vita”. Beside that, the book of the reading club I joined discussing is "The Cultural Map". To verify what I learnt about the cultural differences so far, I plan to stay with the hosts, sharing stories, discuss with them, and enjoy the "Ah oh" moments. So I decide to join Couchsurfing for the first time.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I enjoy almost all types, as long as they have good rhythm. Especially, I find the songs that are played at perfect moment with good intention on movies, or video games, are the ones that mostly stayed in playlist. Also, my nostalgic playlist are hits during 2003 up to 2008.
Here's my Spotify profile (not really 100% reflected): https://open.spotify.com/user/21ls6xz2uenwlolp46zput6ea, and here's for Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/pirent420

For my favorite movies list: https://letterboxd.com/pirent/likes/
Three movies that I enjoy re-watching are 300, Watchmen, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

For books, you can find more about me at: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/64235204-ph-c-v
My three favorite ones are *The Science of Happiness: How Our Brains Make Us Happy-and What We Can Do to Get Happier*, *Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking*, and *Clean Code: A Handbook of Agile Software Craftsmanship *.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I join the rock climbing tour, called Via Ferrata - Walk the Torq, when went trekking at Kinabalu Mt, Malaysia. It was also the test for acrophobia (luckily, I didn't have it, just my worry).
