I am an optimistic, energetic, and empathic person. I love to discover new places and meet new people.
I grow up in Funchal, Madeira Island. Even though it is a beautiful place since I was little I had an internal urge to know the world. When I was 18 I moved to Lisbon and I started to live alone, there I did my bachelor's and master's and started to meet people from different backgrounds. I also lived in Vienna for six months in my Erasmus and after another six months in Brussels for an internship. These international experiences allowed me to meet people from all over the world, expand my mind, and gave me other perspectives, of which I will be forever glad.
During my free time, I like to roller skate and dance. I also really enjoy traveling and knowing new places. I like to read articles about what is happening, so I can be updated on every topic. Music and seeing movies are my meditation.
Beyond that, I love cosmopolitan environments and meeting people from various backgrounds and places. I guess that's the beauty of walks of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I feel I am a true citizen of the world, and everywhere I go I always find myself. In my vision, the world is based on people and places and therefore we can learn something from every place that we passed and be able to teach as well. This exchange of cultures, ideals, and social behaviors just makes us wise, open-minded, and more (re)educated and so we have the ability to change the surrender around us to a more fair place.
