WHEN I STARTED LISTENING TO DIFFERENT RADIO STATIONS ALL AROUND THE WORLD

AS THERE WAS NO INTERNET

NO PERSONAL COMPUTERS.

NO CELL PHONES
NO ANDROIDS
NO DISH Antennas etc.

I MADE A FRIEND IN SWEDEN THROUGH RADIO AUSTRALIA
He Invited me to SWEDEN.
STAYED AT HIS HOME FOR 10 DAYS
IS THIS AMAZING OR UN BELIEVABLE

My Story of life and experience is very unique , different, Amazing . Still I think to this day if it was a dream.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is a great idea, Always looking forward to make new friends

30 years Back , a similar idea was " penfriends "
People use to write letters. Exchange ideas, discuss culture and customs .
There were many penfriends club, whose Membership fee was paid by IRC
( international Reply Coupon).
Wonder if they still sell in post offices.

We used to listen different Shortwave radio stations.
Made friends through radio clubs
