Overview
About Me
I'm an urban farmer who's learning about growing food in and cooking food from all parts of the world. The earth is a fascinating place that's full of amazing people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met two Couchsurfers while traveling in Osaka, and was curious! Hoping to tick off my last two continents from my bucket list, South America and Antarctica, though if I'm honest there's still so much of the world to see.
Interests
I love seeing the world through the eyes of other people, speaking thoughts built with words of different languages, eating what passes as food in all cultures. We human beings are a curious lot, each so different yet all the same. And I love it all!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a classically-trained pianist but love all sorts of music. Audio books are my current favourite as they let me do other things while reading.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did you know fried grasshoppers in Thailand taste like pork scratchings? They're yummy!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach languages, piano, cooking, mathematics, gardening and sewing. I can even fix your broken toilet! If that sounds like a random collection of skills, it is. Life just happened while I wasn't looking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you'd like to see the world but only have time to have the world come to you, I'll bring you a bit of everything from all the places I've been to, which is 5 out of the 7 continents so far!
