Overview
About Me
I am a Marine Biologist who is lucky enough to travel the world for work, but would like to spend more time exploring on my own.
Born in California but raised in Florida, with a brief stint in Texas, so lucky enough to know warm and sunny. I've always lived within an easy driving distance to a coast.
I enjoy history and architecture. I will always stop to watch a sunset (and sunrise, but I'm more of a night owl). I have older brothers so I'm a tom boy and love to watch sports and can be competitive (watch out game night). I do say try everything and am game for just about anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet fellow wanderers and learn about their homes. I've met and attended events and have found that I share the same outlook on life as couchsurfers
Interests
I used to dive for work but have done so recreationally in a decade. I would like to experience that again, but am just as happy sitting on the shore. I prefer being outside and taking in the culture and nature. And yes I will stop to take lots of photos. I treasure memories and do enjoy looking back. So all those pictures saved on the phone, I actually go through them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sandlot is one of my all time favorites. Enjoy all genres of movies except horror, I'm a scaredy cat. I'll go back to my childhood favs a lot recently. But especially enjoy anything with my favorite actor James McAvoy.
Just finished the Next Person You Meet in Heaven and at one point I was balling, I had to hide. I enjoy listen to audiobooks especially biographies from women in the own voices. Prefer thrillers and good old mysteries a la Nancy Drew.
Music is simple and whatever melody makes me happy. Though I do have an old soul with music and Motown or anything similar will catch my ear. And yes I willl sing to myself a lot.
