Overview
About Me
Hey guys! I'm Tanner and I'll be graduating from university soon and would like to spend a few months backpacking Europe before getting a full time job! I'd say I have a great sense of humor and I really value great conversation. I feel it's important to get out of your comfort zone from time to time as well as having tolerance to opposing viewpoints.
I'm not a very materialistic person and I would rather explore a new city or learn a skill from someone new rather than placing my focus towards having a brand new car, a rolex, or staying in a 5-star luxury hotel. I value genuine people, not the ones who flex on Instagram and care too much about how many followers they have or don't have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures from a local's perspective! I don't consider CS a dating service and I don't intend to use it in that way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all types of music but mainly EDM, Alternative Rock, German Rap, Jazz, and even a bit of classical! Big fan of Dermot Kennedy, Coldplay, Avicii, 2Cellos, and Ludovico Einaudi.. just to name a few.
The best movies are those that really make you think and you really can't beat a great comedy! If I had to pick a favorite, it might have to be Interstellar.
I love reading books on war history, business, and biographies. If you haven't read The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson, DO IT! The title seems a bit much but I promise you won't be disappointed.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm really interested in learning about languages, cooking, making connections with people, and trying new craft beers! 🍻
There are only seven days in a week and "someday" isn't one of them. Make every day count. 😬
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share stories as well as stories of your own! My goal is to experience the world from different perspectives and learn from them. I would gladly help out in the kitchen or even walk your dog. I'm on Couchsurfing to connect with people from all walks of like, not just for a free place to stay the night.
