About Me
- The only things one never regrets are one's eccentricities -
My name is Andrea, I am 32 years old and born in France. After working for 10 years in the film industry in Paris as an assistant director and directing an award-winning first short film, I decided to move to Vancouver, Canada.
This will be the adventure of my life where I was able to establish myself, create strong friendships and work on my own as a photographer and videographer.
After this incredible experience, I returned to France in September with the desire to discover personalities, the youth of the European countries and these cities that I can't wait to visit. This approach is above all creative!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my experience in Canada, I understood that the meeting is above all one of the greatest richness of the trip.
There is no better way to travel than by sharing with locals, people who are open-minded and willing to share a piece of their couch.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel the West Coast of the United States by bus alone, with my backpack and camera. I chose to not organize my trip, to be aware and ready to meet people and discover places. I left L.A. for Portland in December 2015.
I had a sublime stay where I was able to meet locals who made me discover magical places as well as welcomed me into their homes where we were able to talk about their life experience and their love of the city where they live.
I am still in contact with them, some of whom have become close friends. They made my road trip extraordinary. Since then, I have exhibited the photos taken during my stay in Vancouver as well as in Reims and Paris.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be happy to take pictures, portraits of the people I met, share my travel experience with them orally and in writing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My approach is first of all creative as a professional photographer.
Recently, I have been working on a photographic project "Kiss me first" where I photograph mixed couples. So I go to meet couples where the woman (or man) is of French origin in a couple with a man (or woman).
