Overview
About Me
Hi. My name is Winnie not the Pooh. I am a branding strategist, global connector and an entrepreneur. Some people would know me as a business woman, creative director, motivational speaker, or even financial consultant all roll into one. But mainly, I am passionate about connecting people, startup businesses and creating brands. I enjoy making friends with people who “pays it forward!”
My awesome husband (born in Uruguay but grew up in the states) and I relocated back to Singapore my home country for family and business. We have been Airbnb hosts for a season and we both love traveling and making friends all over the globe. We enjoy good company, great conversations, watching movies and cooking up a great meal for/with our guests. We believe there are NO strangers in the world, only friends yet to meet! So welcome to Singapore- and welcome to our world. Be part of our family!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A new friend came over for dinner and movie and we were having so much fun over great conversations but we had only the couch for him (rooms full) but he said WOW he loved to stay over and he has never felt so at home and loved it! So we joked about sharing our couch to others too. So here we are. Making good a promise!

We love reading, inspirational music and watching movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
my husband thinks it’s amazing his wife has done over 100 branding projects and travelled to 17 cities in China. I have lived in HK on a sabbatical for 4 months, and working on a HK project for 2 years. I have also lived 5 years in the states in over 7 cities of which 3 years in Silicon Valley and 2 years in the Midwest in Peoria which is itself a story for another day- a city girl out in the country. Culture shock is an understatement but it makes great content for my book. But I was told I brought so much comic relief during my stay there. Yep, I even talk to trees out in the country.
Teach, Learn, Share
Love empowering people to love themselves, know their identity, discover their destiny and activating their gifting or talents. We love to share our live stories of our struggles, our failures, our fears and then some and finally our overcoming amazing rich journey. If we don’t have the time, guess having books will help. (Writing in progress always.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
We like to share our kitchen if our guests like to cook their local foods. Mostly I am the one who cook and just ask help for washing dishes! We can share the washer (nice to have fresh clean laundry for Travellers. We know how it is as we are Airbnb types of Travellers too) ), using the bathroom but keeping it clean and the dining room for watching movies with popcorn or ice cream. We love to share our home! We have no kids yet and no pets so it’s dust free place. For those who smoke, we only request to do it outside the home.
