I’m a language lover. I live in Lodz, Poland. I am a tour-leader and tour guide of Lodz and the region. I work in the customer support in bike-sharing projects, so obviously (or not) I like biking 🚴‍♀️. I try to do at leat 10 000 steps a day, so I wouldn’t feel guilty for eating my beloved muffins 🧁.

My only addiction is a can of coke from time to time ( but not the fake diet one 😖). My favourite food 🥘 includes pasta al dente 🍝 with staff I have in a fridge at the moment and my mom’s cheesecake 💖.

I cannot imagine my life within music 🎼 and cup of coffee ☕️ in the morning. I love travelling 🧳 maybe one day I will visit every country in the world 🗺. My biggest dream is to visit a refugee for orphaned elephants 🐘 in Kenya 🇰🇪. My little heavens on earth 🌍 are Rome and my tiny summer house 🏡 in the middle of nowhere in Poland.

I spent summer 2019 participating the work and travel program Camp America 🇺🇸 & doing my one month trip throughout the USA. 🏕🚙

Though I cannot be host at the moment I like the idea of CS and I’d love to hangout or give you a tour of my lovely city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and learning about different cultures. And what is a better way to accomplish that than meeting new people. Each encounter with people and cultures enriches my horizons and makes me more open minded. I believe CS is a wonderful opportunity to experience the atmosphere of a place.

Interests

I am into musicals, it doesn’t matter what it is about I admire how people can create a great performance with amazing music and lyrics to tell a story.
My great passion is studying languages (currently English and Italian). One day I want to work as a translator and make translations for the movies: subtitles, voice over and dubbing. I’m interested in neurolinguistics, especially the fenomen of bilingualism. I like intense sightseeing and exploring new places but I don’t mind chilling in friendly company. I like reading books, watching films and tv series. In my spare time I like making handmade postcards and jump on the fitness trampoline.

Music, Movies, and Books

It’s hard to choose one favorite movie or book. I grew up with Harry Potter. Salmon fishing in Yemen always gets me emotional and full of hope that everything is possible. Game of thrones - guilty pleasure:) I could watch over and over Friends and Sherlock. And a cherry on the cake the Long hot summer with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. I also enjoy watching biographical films.

I have got an eclectic music interests. I like music in general, from pop to rock, country to classic. Some of Ed Sheeran, Queen, Andrea Bocelli, Music of the 80., the 90.

My favourite book definitely Little Prince. Someone might find it cliche but I don’t care. I 💖 the story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Making decision to go & actually go to the USA for work & travel program. Swimming in the waterfall. Going to Rome out of blue with people I’ve never met before (great trip by the way).

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning languages. Currently I'm studying Italian and English. It would be awesome to improve my language skills. Practice makes perfect after all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe I'm nice and outgoing person (even if shy at first). I like cooking and wouldn't mind preparing some dinner, I think I already mentioned I love food :) Doesn't matter if we go sightseeing together, eat breakfast in the morning, watch Netflix or go out and grab some drink, as long as we can spend some time to know each other and our cultures.
