Hello, I’m Hyunju Kwon from South Korea. I’m major in business in Seoul, and I’ve studied fashion in Paris for one semester. I’m 21-year-old girl who is passionate and enjoyable. Now I’m travelling the world, and trying to learn other culture. I’ve been lots of cities; Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin, Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Wien, Croatia, Venice, Rome, Firenze, etc. My english is not that perfect like whom comes from english speaking countries, but there’s no problem to talk with others and I feel comfortable when I speak english. I’m not too much talker, but I really enjoy valuable talk with others:-) I’m not good at drinking, but I enjoy a bottle of beer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Now I’m travelling alone about 2months. I really enjoyed my trip, but I just went to the monument and other popular sites and restaurants among the travelers. I couldn’t learn other countries real culture and real local’s life. Monuments in the city looks beautiful and amazing, but I feel more comfortable when I saw the children playing in the playground, washed clothes hanging on the rope between the buildings.
I really want to know about real culture, real life, real food in the world and share other different and various cultures that we have. That’s the reason why I’m on couchsurf.

Interests

I’m interested in fashion, and especially luxury brands. That’s why I studied in Paris during my one semester!
Furthermore, I love arts. I like go to the art gallery and discover new artists that I didn’t know. Art is one of the reason of my travel.

I love K-pops, of course. My favorite K-pop singer is IU. Also, I love pops, such as Billy, Ariana Grande, Troye Sivan. I like playing the piano and violin.
I’m big fan of Marvel universe and I like warm movies such as forest gump or secret garden of madame prust. I like study about color, so I enjoy watching movies which have lovely colors. Also, I love Disney. Nowadays, I’m falling in love with Games of throne.
I like fantasy novels. Harry Potter is one of my favorite.

I can teach Korean language, culture and food. Also other countries’ lifestyle what I learned from my travel.
I want to learn people’s real life and culture. I want to go through your community and hang out with locals.
