They brought up their three boys here, and during that time were proactively engaged in all of the boys' endeavours. Paul and Julie both play competition squash, and are a joint major sponsor on a number of the squash competition events. They have been property owners, developers, landlords and tenants, so they have an extensive personal experience with all aspects of real estate. In his time as a Civil Design Draftsman, Paul belonged to the design team of Headland Park, Mountain Creek, Buderim Meadows and North Buderim subdivisions, among others. Paul and Julie then continued to establish Innovative Steel Detailing, a business specialising in fabrication workshop drawings for the steel industry. Within this role, they employed ten staff. They accomplished many projects including Darwin Airport Expansion, Gold Coast University Hospital, Pelican Waters Shopping Centre and Kawana Shopping World extension. All this knowledge and expertise has allowed them to obtain a vast knowledge base for their real estate careers.
