About Me

Open minded and friendly person who likes to share a smile 😊

I am totally new to couchsurfing. I would really love to become part of the community because I heard about so many amazing couchsurfing experiences from my friends!

🍷German girl - born and raised in a wine country, but there are also regular visits to Munich for Oktoberfest 🍻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Backpacking right now - I would like to meet locals and get a different perspective of a city, make friends and share ideas. And hopefully, perhaps most importantly, to learn something - Shared moments with nice people are the richest and most valuable moments of a journey.

Interests

✈ I take every chance I get to gain new travel experiences

🍴 I'm really passionate about food - memory in my family is always connected to the food you had at a certain place

📖 I try to read a lot. I also love to learn foreign languages. I am quite fluent in English, would love to improve my French and learn Spanish in the future

📻 Not musical - but I played the piano for quite a time. My taste is super eclectic and I believe every genre has something to offer. Hence, I don't like talking about music, I'd rather just listen to it

🚲 I love to ride my bike to work - so much better than being stuck in a train for hours. And it keeps you fit at the same time. I also love hiking in the mountains

🍸I don't travel just to party, but still love to share dinner and drinks with friends. If you add some games - sounds like a perfect evening

Music, Movies, and Books

Last book finished: the girl on the train. I am very open to different kinds of music. But mostly I prefer rock music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just took off 4 months of work to travel - best decision ever

Got up in the middle of the night to hike to the sand dunes to see the sunrise. Absolutely stunning!

Teach, Learn, Share

🍽 Recipes from all over the world - Life is just too short to be on a diet

Always aiming to learn and grow in knowledge about foreign countries, languages, culture and people ❤

If you have a weird or wonderful idiom in your mother tongue that makes no sense in translation, I would love to hear it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

-I love cooking - so maybe we could share a meal or some recipes

A laugh and an open invitation to crash on my couch back home whenever possible
...and I make a pretty good breakfast 🍳
