Hi everyone! I’m Ozan from Turkey🇹🇷. I grew up in Edremit, Balıkesir where is located in west part of Turkey and by the seaside. I am a student in Bilkent University which is the one of the best colleges in the country and I’m studying management there. I am someone who don’t like associating himself with some specific personal characteristics, I think it is something unnatural. I have always suggested others to experience my personality and see how i am. I can only say that I am outgoing so, open to learn about new personalities and cultures. Other than that, my personal development is so important for me that I try to experience new things that I haven’t done as much as possible. Human life is a process that every individual should make progress for me. I believe in this and try to make use of the limited life time we have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling all around the world was always my dream and will always be. Now, I feel myself ready to start my journey and have memories from different places that I have never been. I have decided Europe to be my first stop for this purpose. I am a student and having troubles with financing this travel. In addition to that because of the financial crisis that Turkey has been going through nowadays, we the Turkish citizens are affected negatively in an financial aspect. , so I would probably have serious difficulties in my trip to Europe. This is the main reason why I prefer Couchsurfing. I don't want to let any obstacle to stop my dream come true :) Besides, I think people are the ones who make different places valuable and unique. Therefore, in order to gain an insight into a different place and to add a meaning to your travel completely , meeting new people and learning their lifestyles and culture is the key for me. Couchsurfing gives this opportunity.

I like actually reading scientific, political and historical articles but my fav book is Animal Farm from George Orwell.
