Overview
About Me
I am a curious, open hearted and open minded person, interested in a very wide range of topics and I love to share ideas and learn about how people live and think elsewhere. For me travelling does not mean to spend two weeks in an all inclusive hotel and than going back home as the same person that I came. For me travelling is a possibility for personal development and a possibility to broaden my horizon.
I am an active guy who likes to learn other languages, sports, food, music or any other differents ways of living, who also likes and loves to chill out just meditating, or reading a book.
Iconsider i was lucky and not too lucky of were borned in the Canary Islands. It means that all that I knew the 80% of my life was beautiful beaches, desserts, Vulkans and 1 million sunsets over the horizon. Otherwise, the Atlantic Ocean is like a jail...i used to think i was s prisoner in the paradise ;)
It was 5 years ago when I met my girlfriend who took me of my hand to visit some corners of the world, learn languages, try wintersports and meet new people. With it, I comprehended that the Paradise where I was borned extended to many places in this world...
I have studied Osteopathy and many courses about massage therapies. I love when I can help people in this way. Appart of it it I have worked in many other jobs like kitchen assistant or post deliver.
In the past, I have dedicated a lot of time playing music with my friends. I play guitar, some bass guitar and percussion.
For the last months my girlfriend Martina (from Austria) and me have been travelling through Chile, Argentina, Peru and Colombia, including a 1000 km long distance hike in the chilenean Andes. After it we crossed the Atlantic Ocean by sail boat from the Caribbean to Azores in which I consider the trip of my life.
I'm fluent in English as well as German ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to stay outside the "tourist bubbel" and want to get to know the real people of the regions we are travelling through.
