My name is Beatriz, I'm 24 years old. I feel that is just very hard to describe yourself in just a few lines and very easy to also write what people would like to read. Just to say that I believe in the authenticity of simplicity and appreciate hospitality as a human value. 
About myself, I consider I am a cheerful, creative and spontaneous person. Enthusiastic about the diversity of the world. I come from a small region in the north of Spain called Cantabria, I must say that I love where I come from, the mountains and the sea are very close to each other and that's why nature is so important to me. Even though I love where I come from I love to explore, I am a very curious person and that's why I love to travel; and especially to learn and immerse myself completely in other cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now after finishing university I've just decided to go on a trip by myself, in which I'm planning to go from Spain till Greece, with no rush and able to stop and enjoy anywhere I feel good

Interests

Generally what I like the most is to enjoy any activity in nature :) going to lakes, hiking, getting lost among the rocks at the beach, have a nice picnic in the park with friends...
I love going to the mountains, enjoy hiking and skiing in winter.

Finally, I have to mention my love for cooking. In Spain we have a very important culture in relation to food and that's why sitting with friends or family around the table enjoying the same food is something that I find very satisfying. It will be a pleasure to share my recipes and learn new ones!
