My name is Dominika and I am 20 years old. I am here in America, for the whole summer working as a lifeguard. After the summer I really want to travel and explore beautiful places here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Work and travel program is a huge opportunity to see the world. I have never been in America before, so I want to see as much as it is possible. I want to get know people living here, try their food, see how the live, get to know their habbits. It is very interesting and I think that this app is great opportunity to see more and spend less for accomodation, get to know new people.

Interests

I really love to do things in my free time. I am playing the guitar for few years but my school is taking my free time away so I am not playing so much these days. I used to ride for 8 years, it is still my best hobby I have ever had and I hope that some day I will buy a horse. I also dance in a national dance group so singing and dancing are part of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kind of music but I can say that rap is not for me but if there is good atmosphere it is ok. Music is part of my everyday life and I can not imagine living without it. I love reading and watching movies as well. My favourite ones are Harry Potter, The Hobbit, Pirates of the Caribbean. I love fantasy movies and books as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I do not know. Probably coming here to America, working as a lifeguard is really amazing thing. I have never been so far from my family. I missed them very much, but I believe that I will have the best memories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately, there are 6 of us in the apartment, but I can offer one matress, homemade meal and long talking, hh. We are working during the whole day, so we can offer staying during the night.
